Neuropathy

Neuropathy means "numbness" in the feet. This can be caused by many things. Diabetes and lower back problems are the most common causes. The patient feels just that, numbness in the feet or legs. The patient may also experience muscle weakness or tingling in the legs as well.
A good clinical exam can sometimes reveal the cause of the neuropathy. Depending on the symptoms, sometimes medications can be used to treat the problem.
